PTBOCanada Featured Post: 21 Reasons Mudmoiselle (Formerly Devil's Run) Rocks

Mudmoiselle (formerly known as Devil's Run) is an empowering, fun day for women that takes place on July 11th at Devil's Elbow.

Here are some fun facts you need to know about this year's event, with all funds raised going to the Canadian Cancer Society to help fight cancer...

1. More than 300 women have already signed up for the Mudmoiselle Peterborough event at Devil's Elbow.

You can sign up here.

2. The day is a memorable one for participants that they will never forget, sharing in the bond of participating in this event to help raise funds for cancer research.

3. The race course takes place on 9 of the 11 runs at Devil's Elbow.

4. This is a "Bucket List" day to check off your list of things to try.

Those who participated last year said it was a terrific, challenging day they will never forget!

5. There are 3 new obstacles this year—and more mud!

6. Dump trucks carrying a total of 120 cubic meters of top soil will be used for the mud obstacles. (That’s enough mud to spread throughout a 4,237 square foot house, 1 foot deep.)

7.  9,000 lbs of ice will be trucked in to fill the ice bath obstacle. That’s equivalent to 22,622 twelve ounce drinks half-filled with ice.

8. It will take an estimated 1,400 hours in total just to construct the course.
