Children's Music Group Wiggles To Perform At Peterborough Memorial Centre in October

As part of their Big Show Tour!, Children’s music group ‘The Wiggles’ is performing at the Peterborough Memorial Centre (PMC) on Oct. 7 announced on Tuesday.

The group has been entertaining children for over 30 years. Their Treehouse TV shows are on in six million homes and the number one program with kids aged 2 – 11 across all kid’s networks in Canada. Photo courtesy of The Wiggles.

The group is touring Canada from Sept. 28 until Halloween and have not performed in the country in three years.

New Wiggles Tsehay Hawkins, Caterina Wiggle and John Wiggle, from the Fruit Salad TV series are new additions to the tour.

"We're so excited to be coming back to perform in Canada,” said Anthony Field, Blue Wiggle. “The show also features a variety of dance styles and performances, and we're bringing all our Wiggly friends too."

Tickets are available on the group’s website or through the PMC website starting on July 22. Children under a year old have free admission but must sit on the lap of someone with a valid ticket.

The Wiggles Party Time Tour Hits Peterborough

Following the smash success of their TV series on Universal Kids and Hulu, as well as new clips released on YouTube every week receiving millions of views, it’s time to see Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony off the screen and on the stage.

The Wiggles The Party Time Tour! will feature Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and a brand new Wiggly friend, Shirley Shawn the Unicorn. You can sing and dance along to all your favourite classic Wiggles songs as well as plenty of new favourites.

Tickets go on sale May 31st at 10 a.m., over the phone or in person at Peterborough Memorial Centre Box Office (hours 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Prices start at $40.

The Wiggles Rock Showplace For Two Shows October 15th

The Wiggles are bringing their exciting new Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle! tour to Peterborough this Fall for two shows at Showplace.

Derived from their #1 hit Treehouse TV program of the same name, this brand-new show will see Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony hit the stage with their friends Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and all the Wiggly Dancers.

The Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle! Tour will bring all the excitement of what it takes to Wiggle to the Showplace Performance Centre on October 15th for two shows at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
 
Tickets for "Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle" in Peterborough go on sale Monday, June 25th at 10:30 a.m. All tickets are $40 and are available via ticketmaster.com, the Showplace Box Office, and by phone at 705-742-SHOW (7469). Children under 12 months are free.

The Wiggles Are Coming To Showplace October 6th

The popular Australian children's group The Wiggles are on a world tour, and are making a stop in Peterborough October 6th, where they will be performing at Showplace.

The Wiggles—who are celebrating their 25th birthday, the release of their new CD and DVD Wiggle Town, and their hit TV show—are playing two shows on October 6th, one at 3 p.m. and the other at 6:30 p.m., Showplace Marketing Manager Emily Martin tells PTBOCanada.

After 25 years of performing, The Wiggles are the world’s No. 1 Children’s entertainment group. With 7 million albums, 23 million DVDs, and 8 million books sold, the Wiggles have performed to millions of fans worldwide, and count amongst their fans such high-profile celebrities as Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Cate Blanchett, Chris Rock, Shaquille O’Neal and Harry Styles.
