Jay Callaghan captured beautiful shots of Auroras around 1 a.m. this morning (August 28th) over Lancaster Bay just outside Peterborough past Fowlers Corners. "I was in awe over the light show," says Jay about witnessing them. So are we looking at his pictures below...
Peterborough photographer Jay Callaghan—who captures beautiful nature images like these light pillars pics that went viral all over the world earlier this year—has done it again. He caught this meteor pictured below in the skies over Peterborough at 3:50 a.m. "I lucked out," Jay tells us. "I set the alarm for 2:45 a.m. and it was cloudy. I went back to sleep, set the alarm for 3:45 and it was clear. Saw 3 meteors in 20 minutes."
