Lakefield Man Charged With Careless Driving After Driving Into Two Pedestrians, Killing One
/A 52-year-old Lakefield man is facing careless driving charges involving a collision with two pedestrians last October.

An 81-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at Queen Street and Concession Street in Lakefield. The woman died from her injuries as a result of the collision and the man was injured.
The accused was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
Careless driving causing death
Careless driving causing bodily harm
Fail to yield to pedestrian
